Meet the Team

Dr. Alex Adler received her DVM from Ross University in 2014 after graduating with a degree in Chemistry from Skidmore College in 2010. Dr. Adler completed her clinical year rotations at The Ohio State University. She and her brother, Dr. Sam Adler purchased Ticehurst Animal Hospital, now Swimming River Veterinary Hospital in 2023. Her interests are in soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. She enjoys spending her free time with her daughter, skiing, and fencing with her husband, Sean. They share their home with their rescue dogs, Miles and Potato and cats, Nubbins and BB.

Dr. Samuel Adler graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional Veterinary College in 2017 after completing his undergraduate studies in Biology at University of Maryland in 2013. His interests in veterinary medicine include surgery and behavior. The Adler siblings purchased Ticehurst Animal Hospital, now Swimming River Veterinary Hospital, in 2023. Sam and his wife share their home with their children and their dogs, Ridley and Turk. Dr. Adler enjoys SCUBA diving, stand-up paddle boarding, and golf in his free time.
